Golf Fundraiser Shines a Light on Addiction

Hope and Visions' recent Charity Golf Day proved to be about much more than golf. Hosted in partnership with JPA Financial Planning and Hennerton Golf Club, the event brought together supporters, businesses, and sporting personalities to raise awareness of addiction and the importance of recovery while generating vital funds for the charity's work.

We are delighted to announce that the event raised a fantastic £3,945, helping Hope and Vision continue supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives through recovery programmes, mentoring, and supported housing.

A particular highlight of the day was the support of several special guests from the sporting world. Tony Adams, Brian McDermott, Shane Long, and Steven Reid all took time to speak about addiction, recovery, and the challenges faced by those affected by substance misuse. Steve Rider hosted the raffle and auction. Their contributions helped shine a light on an issue that touches countless individuals, families, and communities across the UK.

As Hope and Vision's Founder, Tony Attwood knows all too well the challenges people face when trying to turn their lives around. By combining lived experience with practical support, the charity helps people move from addiction and instability towards recovery, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.
