Thank you for your interest
in our programme.

Hope and Vision Communities offers move-on accommodation to men and women who have completed residential rehabilitation for drug or alcohol addiction.
Residents joining us may be soon leaving a rehab centre or associated move-on accommodation. They will have demonstrated progress and a willingness to change.
We provide an opportunity for you to continue your recovery with the expectation that you continue to engage and be pro-active within your existing networks. Through key working and regular testing we will provide you with a level of light-touch support to empower you further in managing personal responsibility to independent living.

Finding Your Way: FAQs

Find answers to the most frequent queries from our referrers and applicants.

How long does the referral process take?

Once we receive a completed online application with all requested risk assessments and rehab progress notes, our intake team will complete an initial triage within 3 working days. If the applicant meets our baseline criteria, we will coordinate a face-to-face or virtual interview within 7 working days.

How long can a resident stay in a Hope and Vision Communities home?

We do not enforce a time limit - residents can stay for as long as they need us.

Can I work while living in your accommodation?

Yes, we actively encourage it! Once you are settled and your recovery is stable, our key workers will help you look for volunteering, training, or employment opportunities.

How does rent work if I find a job? Will I lose my housing?

Unlike traditional supported housing models where finding work can cause a financial cliff-edge, we use the REAL Rent Model (Realistic, Ethical, Adaptive, Liveable). If you enter employment, your rent transitions to a tiered, affordable market rate. This teaches you how to budget and pay bills in a real-world scenario, perfectly preparing you for total independence without the fear of suddenly losing your home.

Is the accommodation furnished?

All of our houses are fully furnished to a very high standard, including fully equipped kitchens, communal living areas, and private or shared bedrooms. Residents only need to bring clothes, personal toiletries, and any personal items that make their space feel like home!

Do you accept couples or pets?

No, we do not accept couples or pets.
